"Strings Attached" by Jerry Wray

"Strings Attached" by Jerry Wray

Light up your rooms with these large, colorful paintings from the Pouring Series by nationally renowned, local artist Jerry Wray

Jerry began working in watercolor in 1943 as a student at Newcomb College Art School at Tulane University. Her senior project was selected to represent Newcomb in a student exhibit at MoMA The Museum of Modern Art. In 1996, she was elected to the National Association of Women Artists, Inc. (Official). Jerry has won over forty awards in the last thirty years in juried exhibits and has had dozens of solo shows and many group exhibitions throughout the U.S. including at the Macon Arts Alliance. Her paintings have been purchased internationally for private collections and several Fortune 500 companies. Jerry is represented in galleries and museums worldwide, and she is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and six regional watercolor societies.

Many of this prolific artist's pieces that are coming to the Norsworthy Gallery this February have never been shown before.

And remember, Downtown Shreveport is a Cultural District, which means no sales tax is owed on the purchase of original works of art, thanks to the Louisiana Cultural Districts Program.

We also offer limited edition prints, with tax included in the price.
